Our speaker will be Christopher Fletcher, who was raised in Bristol, RI, is an award-winning arborist, and is entrusted with the care of Bristol's historic Juniper Hill Cemetery, a National Historic Landmark. Chris was presented with the Preservation Society of Newport County’s Laurel Award in 2024 as the only Arborist to receive this prestigious honor for 20 years of outstanding service in protecting and nurturing the Society’s trees and landscapes. His management of the historic Juniper Hill Cemetery has brought Chris deep into the history of Bristol since most of the historical personalities of Bristol's past are buried there.
