Double the HOPE for Our Community

 
BRISTOL, RI - Bristol Rotary is proud to announce the Bristol Rotary Match, a new community giving initiative that doubles the impact of every donation given to a highlighted charity up to $10,000.00. We are proud to partner with the East Bay Recovery Center.
 
The East Bay Recovery Center (EBRC), located in Warren, serves any individual who is contemplating recovery or is actively in recovery from substance use or mental health disorders. The Recovery Center strives to empower, encourage, and support individuals as they work to improve their lives and face the challenges of recovery. The Recovery Center is a safe and supportive place that emphasizes self- direction where an individual can embrace and experience what the peer-recovery movement has to offer.

Participants of the Recovery Center will experience one-on-one support with a Peer Recovery Coach, who has personally “walked the walk” and who strives to promote mutually supportive relationships in ways that empower recovery, personal growth, and social action. Bristol Rotary strives to provide support to the EBRC this year for its many programs and tremendous needs. As George O’Toole, the Director of Recovery Support Services summarized, “The Recovery Center offers Hope!”
 
Bristol Rotary Club is approaching its 98th year serving the charitable needs of Bristol and surrounding communities. As it completes this fiscal year (2026/2027), Bristol Rotary is grateful to its donors and the supporters of its fundraisers for helping them serve the community for so long. This year it will have donated almost $120,000 to approximately 30 local charities and some international ones tied to this community. In addition, since the pandemic, Bristol Rotary has doubled in membership to over 70 local professionals who believe in its guiding principle, “Service Above Self.”

To continue in its tradition, Bristol Rotary announces that all donations given on behalf of the East Bay Recovery Center will be matched by Bristol Rotary’s Charities Foundation (BRCF) funds up to $10,000. The East Bay Recovery center offers Hope, Bristol Rotary pledges to double that Hope
