Dinner For 2 - Terms & Conditions
The Rotary Club of Bristol RI, will conduct the sweepstakes drawing live at 3:00 PM on November 17th, 2025, at the Bristol Yacht Club. Participants need not be in attendance. The person who purchased the selected sweepstake ticket (the “Winner”) will be notified by phone and/or email as provided on their sweepstakes registration. Back-up winners will be selected in case the primary winner cannot accept the prize.
The Winner will receive travel credits with a total value of $10,000.00 through ATLANTIVACATIONS INC entitling them with their companion(s) to transportation, accommodations and dining of their selection (the “Prize). The Winner may select the destination, the airline and hotel and dinning arrangements, all subject to approval and availability. It is anticipated the accommodations will be equivalent in quality to a three-star hotel or better. Upgrades in air travel or accommodation may be made at the Winner’s sole cost and expense if they cannot be accommodated within the value of the Prize. The Prize does not include bush flights or ground transportation, alcoholic beverages, or any other entertainment or services beyond those explicitly stated in these conditions. The total package value is not to exceed $10,000 and no cash will be given to the winner if the total value of the prize is not used. As the prize implies, the prize is for 2 people. If more people are added, it will be at the Winner’s expense, if it exceeds the prize’s value. The Winner must book their travel arrangements within six (6) months of the drawing (May 17, 2026) and complete the trip by the end of the calendar year 2026 or the prize will be forfeited. All travel arrangements must be booked through the travel agency, ATLANTIVACATIONS INC or its designated representative. Blackout dates may apply. If the winner chooses to purchase travel insurance, they will be reimbursed for any amount they personally contribute which exceeds the $10,000 value of the prize.
Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, the Rotary Club of Bristol or its designated representative reserves the right to provide Winner with a Prize of equivalent value in the event the requested Prize is not reasonably available for any reason. The Winner must be at least 21 years of age.
Prior to accepting the Prize, the Winner may be required to provide the Rotary Club of Bristol with an IRS form W-9, a clear and readable photocopy of identification (such as a driver’s license or passport), social security number, and any additionally required forms. Bristol Rotary will require the completed documents, before Prize is available to the Winner. Bristol Rotary will issue an IRS form 1099 MISC to the winner reporting the value to the IRS as a taxable event. The Winner represents and warrants to Bristol Rotary that all information submitted with respect to receipt of the Prize is complete and accurate.
The Rotary Club of Bristol is not liable for any loss, injury, death, accident, theft, illness, or other misfortune of any nature whatsoever incurred during this trip or resulting from it. By accepting airline tickets or any other portion of the Prize, the Winner releases Bristol Rotary, its officers, trustees, agents, and attorneys from any and all obligation to the Winner and any and all claims or causes of action that may exist against Bristol Rotary, known or unknown, as well as any such obligations, claims, or causes of action arising from the Winner’s acceptance of the Prize. Bristol Rotary makes no warranty whatsoever, express or implied, with respect to the Prize.
The IRS takes the position that no portion of the ticket will qualify as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. Tickets are $25.00 each and may be purchased at bristolrotaryclub.com/dinnerfor2. Each ticket must include the purchaser’s name and telephone number.
